The Baleari Islands are an archipelago of the western Mediterranean Sea, This is an independent community of Spain. The capital city it is Palm of Majorca. The independent community is composed from one single province. The official languages are the Catalan and the Castilian. The Catalan name, Illes Balears, are used from the Spanish government. The main islands are Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza, and Formentera, all popular tourist destinations.
